Using this free downloadable map from the Fauna chapter, what is the highest score you can get? Print it out (use the concealer page to hide the map as you grab it from your printer), and play the game with whichever characters and gear that you want.
Once you’re done, come back here and comment with your score! We’d also love to hear any harrowing counts of near defeat at the hands (or claws) of the devilish monsters, mindful management of resources, and seeking for the right time to unleash your character and gear powers!
The highest score every month will be announced in the following month’s newsletter and crowned the Champion that month. We all must bow down to their excellence.

I won it this month! I scored 18 and used Irene for my character and compass/dowsing rod/machete.
My equipment made it so that getting the resources I needed to stay ahead on challenges wasn’t much of an issue, so I was able to focus my explore actions on what was most advantageous for my crew and then used Fezrons and row completions to position the crew and wound the vameter. I didn’t end up using Irene as much as I though I might as the two cyclops that ended up on the board seemed kinda helpful since I didn’t need the resources that much; they were kinda like my henchmen, exploring for me. Keep em’ coming!
